"Take me to Amsterdam!" declared my friend Lynn. "I want to see Anne Frank and the big Amsterdam sign," she said. "We can take the twins," she added blithely. "Well, they are all studying history," I agreed cautiously. "It could be educational." "Excellent," said Lynn, and bought everyone matching T-shirts, to make sure we couldn't lose anyone. And so it came to pass, that Lynn, I, and three sets of hormonal teenage twins set off for the cannabis capital of Europe with the full intention of steering their young, inquisitive minds away from the more educational parts of the red light district, and towards the erudite heights of the Van Gogh Museum.
