A Venerable Trip To China

When I suggested a trip to China to my septuagenarian Mum, I didn't really expect her to say 'Yes'. I mean, she's been to Canada but that's about as exotic as it gets. I anticipated a humorous rebuffal and some comment along the lines of 'wild horses couldn't drag me there'. The conversation went something like: "Mum! Do you fancy walking the Great Wall?" "My knees won't take it." "We'll get you one of those sedan chair things." "OK, but you're organizing it!" So the next adventure begins.... But before it does, I'd like to make a SPECIAL APPEAL.
