In search of the lost Dinosaur
We are off on a quest to find the only recorded Dinosaur Stampede in the world at a place called Lark Quarry. We will be travelling by train from Brisbane To Longreach in central Queensland this part of the leg is only 1300 klm but will take us 24hours by train, we are travelling in style with a sleeper cab and all meals supplied. On arrival at Longreach we will have one night there then off to Winton the home of the waltzing Matilda Museum and other interesting facts, the next day we go Dino hunting, and see other local sites then it is back to Longreach and the Qantas and Outback hall of Fame museums, the again on Thursday back on the train and back into Brisbane on the Friday morning. So pack your bags come along with hobbles (Nancy for those that don't know had a nasty fall a few weeks ago and is in a Moonboot so we will walk slow and limp) and me
