The road thru' Burma
Life doesn't always work out as planned. After returning home from our year off we somehow both ended with career jobs and commitments, and the aim of just earning enough to go travelling again faded. So, some 2½ years later our trip to Burma/Myanmar represents a return, albeit a short one, to stuffing a rucksack full of gear, packing a camera and heading off around another South-East Asian country, hoping to take a few half-decent photos and find the perfect chicken-rice. We've about three weeks in Burma, roughly the same time it took us to shoot thru' Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia and as I managed to write up a few blog entries then I figured I'd be able to write another travel blog from a country that over recent years has rapidly come out of both self-imposed isolation and international boycotts. Should be interesting...
