Safari And Bikes

When DH reached that important 6-0 milestone, she decided that what she wanted for her birthday was an exact duplicate of a South African safari trip we had done some years ago. Same park, same guides, same lodges, and same animals (although she remains flexible on that last point). Covid delayed the celebrations but now, on the second anniversary of her 60th birthday, we are headed to South Africa because she-who-must-be-obeyed must be obeyed. Because it's such a long way to go, we're going to add a little bit of Europe including a 16 day bike ride along the Danube River. I'm not sure anyone is meant to ride a bike that often without doing serious damage to sensitive body parts, but we're going to give it a try anyway.
