Jumping Ship

Like most of our trips, we started small and got a little carried away. After a multi day hike through the Cotswolds in England ending up in Bath, the plan was to fly home but we found out that Cunnards' Queen Mary was leaving nearby Southampton for a Norwegian fjord cruise We couldn't pass that up, and on the way back the ship stops in Hamburg so we made the decision to jump ship there and do a couple of stops in Germany & Poland. Apparently it's not that easy to just get off a cruise ship wherever you want, so we may have to commandeer a lifeboat in order to head to the continent. When she-who-must-be-obeyed wants to go to Berlin, I better start rowing.
