Eastern Europe here I go

So, I've worn out South and Central America and a large part of Asia; and I have for a number of years now been saying that Europe is somewhere you can get to easily from the UK! The idea of short haul flights and long weekends didn't really take off too much. Therefore as I have a limited number trips to Europe under my belt it seems only fair to plan a proper visit there. Although with so many places to choose from the decision finally came down to the time of year, climate and simply that I have always wanted to go to Romania. Ok, so Hungary, Bulgaria and Istanbul (Turkey) are a slight extension on the Romania idea... but I couldn't possibly take a trip and limit it to one country could I!
