Newfoundland 2014 - Our Month on The Rock

Visiting "The Rock" has been on our bucket list for a long time and the month of August, 2014 is when we finally made the trip. We landed in St-john's where we spent 2 nights, made our way south to the Avalon Peninsula for a few days, then up to Trinity and Bonavista for 4 nights, followed by the Twilingate area for 4 nights, and finally over to the west coast for a couple of weeks mostly spent in the sublime Gros Morne National Park. Amazing hiking, beautiful coast line and sea stacks, moose, dolphins and whales, icebergs, berry heaven, spectacular gardens of wild flowers, island music and very friendly and hospitable locals contributed to make this trip a very memorable one.
