Back to India 3 years later ... South India this time!

Welcome to our India-2008 travelogue. Nat and I are returning to India in the winter of 2008, 3 years after our first journey there. This time we'll be focussing on the southern part of the country. We'll be landing in Chennai almost at the stroke of midnight on New Year's day 2008. The plan is to take in some Dravidian culture in Tamil Nadu before making our way to the backwaters of Kerala. We'll then loop back to Pondicherry just south of Chennai for an 18-day Habitat for Humanity build ... I'll be leading a group of 16 dedicated Canadians for this segment of the trip. Afterwards, we'll probably head northwest through Karnataka and then maybe to Sikkim in the Himalayas on the Nepalese border. We hope that you enjoy following us.
