We have an opportunity and are jumping at it, even though jumping is risky at our advanced age. As you may know, we are under cultural pressure to celebrate our 70th birthdays, and as neither of us enjoys shopping of any kind, including gift shopping, we decided the easiest way out would be via the exit. It is sad to see people running from their responsibilities - perhaps the stalwart Irish can teach us a thing or two about tradition. We plan to pursue this in a traditional pub or two - some of them 1000 years old. There is green in the forecast.
