Pawel's Oz Road Trip

I have always had a dream, to see many of the mysterious parts of Australia I have not seen before. Despite living in this beautiful country for so many years, and having travelled both for work and pleasure quite extensively - there were still several places, especially up North, which were totally foreign to me. After a long time planning and preparing, I finally have the opportunity to fulfill at least half of my dream. The western loop of the "Australian travel dream" : ) On this trip, I will travel from Melbourne, up through the center of Australia towards Darwin and Kakadu, then make my way westerly via the Kimberley's to Broome, back down south towards Perth, and finally back to Melbourne via Adelaide. Many people have asked me to keep them updated as to where I am along the way, and share some of the photos of the various places I visit. In this blog, I intend to do exactly this - whenever I will have access to technology, I will try to tell a series of short, light hearted stories of my days on the road, via a handful of daily pictures with some comments. Hopefully you enjoy the virtual trip with me. Perhaps this may even entice some of you to do the same - pack up the car, grab the backpack, pack the suitcases - whatever is your dream holiday; and go explore the places you've always wanted to see. Everyone needs to follow their own dreams...
