My 2018 European Adventure

On 2nd September I’ll fly out of Sydney to Europe on the start of an almost seven-week holiday. I plan in France to visit Paris, the Somme’s WWI sites, and Burgundy , then embark on a two week river cruise from Budapest, Hungary to Amsterdam, Holland then spend a few days in both Amsterdam and Bruges, Belgium followed by a finale of hiking in the Swiss Alps. Unlike in recent years where I’ve been alone on previous trips for many weeks at times , this 46 day holiday will be shared for all but a few days with others. I’m very happy in my own company, but it can get lonely, so I’m looking forward to sharing the early weeks with two of my sisters, a brother-in-law, a cousin from Canada, followed by four weeks with touring with the gorgeous Sharon.
