Two Republics
A lttle less exciting than previous journeys our trip to Cyprus presents just as many challenges. Learning to ride elephants, dealing with charity entrepreneurs and helping to arrange Highland Games may sound more difficult but none of them are nearly as complicated as dealing with western bureaucracy. When that bureaucracy is compounded by being under the control of two different bodies in the same city and that city is the only divided capital in the world a whole new level of complexity is added to the planning process.
