Isolation Road Trip to Colorado - May 2020
In the midst of the Covid-19 self-isolation era, I decided to take a road trip to Colorado to visit Ilja who has been self-quarantining in his cabin outside Alma, close to Breckenridge. My potential consulting project was delayed “indefinitely” and Aidan is with his mom for a week so my calendar was totally open! To minimize stops and contact (in this age of pandemic), I packed water and food for the two-day drive and stuffed my tent, sleeping bag and backpack into the car to be as self-sufficient as possible, only planning to stop for gas. And to make it more interesting, I planned to get off the Interstate and cut diagonally through Utah on the way.
