I try to live life to the fullest, in every aspect.  This includes having a can-do attitude and willing to put in the effort to "get 'er done".  I see life as going by too fast in many ways, so I don't wait and put things off until later when I think the time might be "right".  Too many regrets from retired folk that wish they would have done something when they were younger and more able.

You never know when your time is up, so enjoy life while you still can.  But also take time to enjoy the little things in life as well.

Life is also about taking a little risk as well.  Life would be much too boring if I didn't take any risk at all.  Motorcycling is a risk, for sure (but so is driving a car or walking across a street - risks that people forget about).  But the benefits of it, to me, outweigh the risk.

Live. Love. Learn.  Then repeat.
