We do hospitality for the missionary community here. We enjoy Letterboxing. Also, I stamp and make homemade greeting cards, and cross stitch.

We love to travel. And we love NCL cruises. In 2015, our "bucket-list" cruise was from Argentina to the tip of South America and back through the Chilean Fjords to Vina del Mar, Chile. Fantastic. Cruising we get to meet new friends and totally relax and unwind.

In 2017, we had the most unusual cruise from Sydney to New Zealand. On February 10, the captain came over the intercom and announced, "Good morning. I just want to let you know that we are safe. All services are operating, however, earlier in the morning, we lost complete power with the second azapod and we are 'adrift at sea'. We are waiting for a tug boat to take us back to Melbourne for repairs. And you will be getting a complete refund."

Long story short - we never made it to ANY ports in New Zealand. The NCL Star was repaired and we headed straight to Auckland, New Zealand. We were only in New Zealand, long enough to take the bus from the cruise terminal to the airport. I keep hearing the words "a drift at sea". It was such a different experience since the Captain immediately announced that we were getting a complete refund.
