My wife Nora and I love to travel independently, booking our own flights,doing research of our destinations regarding accommodation and sights we wish to see. Sometimes things don't go so well, but this is the joy and pain of travel, we normally stay at hostels,guest homes and budget hotels, eat on the street as long as we see the food cooked and buy fruit at the fresh local markets.We mainly travel to Asian countries as these are well within our budget of $A100 or less per day, not including airfares.

 
At home we enjoy going away in our caravan and normally free camp or stop at beaches where we can catch fish, and are able to take our 2 dogs with us. When we are house bound Nora does voluntary work teaching all mediums of different art to the clients who suffer from disabilities. I enjoy planning our next holiday and reading magazines on travel and caravaning, also finding blogs of travel to read on the computer.
