Hey Hey and a Big G'Day to you
After an all nighter with Mickey, Derrick, Irish Sean and many others at MC Blues Irish Sean and I decided to spend the day on Electric Scooters racing around the rice fields and taking them where no scooter had been before.

We accomplished our goal, I think. We found ourselves riding down many little walk ways between rice fields hours out of Yangshuo. We freaked out many bamboo pointy hatted farmers too.

It was a really cool day, only problem was we hadn't slept at all and by mid day I was so tired, so very very tired and nearly fell asleep doing 5kms down a dirt track. Don't worry we didn't ride on the roads much to keep ourselves safe.

It really is a great way to see the country around Yangshuo, especially when you are very VERY tired. An electric scooter is also a blessing when the hangover sets in around mid day too.

Cheapest ones we found can be found near the entrance to the 'Walking Only' section of West Street. Turn left there and they are about five meters down the road. I can't remember how much they were but I remember being very suprised at how little they cost. We even got ourselves pointy bamboo hats for the day but ended up giving them to some village children we spent an hour with.

Thats about it for the day. The night was spent drinking free cocktails at a bar where a friend was teaching the bar staff how to make a list of expensive drinks.

For us, they were free for the night!

After another huge evening needless to say I got the hell out of Salems Lot the very next day. It always ends that way. No good byes, I just wake up and say, GET OUT now or you'll never leave!
