Christmas 2013

Since January 2012, Beth and I have spent sixty days in the African bush . Our travels have taken us to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We have visited world famous National Parks such as: Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Mount Kenya, Ruaha, Katavi, Mahale, Mashatu, Chobe, Okavango Delta, Kafue and Hwange.

Nowhere do we feel as alive as when we witness the daily life and death struggles of Africa's savannahs, woodlands and dense jungles. Nowhere is the cutting edge between life and death so razor thin. Every day in the African bush is different, exciting and unpredictable. We still have much to learn and we aspire to learn from the best. We ask Bill Given of the Wild Source to help us construct the ultimate two phased wildlife learning experience.

Our trip will be divided into two parts.

Part I - Big Cats & the Great Migration from January 24 to February 1, 2014.

We travel to Ndutu (Tanzania) in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and then into the Olare Motorogi Conservancy of Kenya’s Maasai Mara.

Part II - Kenya Cats, Dogs & the Migration Calving Season from February 1 to February 10, 2014.

Part II will be covered in a separate blog.

The safari will be exceptional in a number of ways:
