Today was Disneyland day! We're staying in a hotel near the airport, with an awesome pool that our room opens directly out to, so we took a one hour Uber ride out there. We had done lots of research beforehand so Ruby and Jed already knew which rides they wanted to go on and which ones gave Fast Passes to let you skip the lines. Thank goodness we had done that as it meant the day was stress-free and relatively queue-free. Plus the day was warm but overcast, so not too hot.

Disneyland was heaps better than I expected, Fantasyland was really nice and full of the stories, Toontown had all the famous characters, and the rides were great! Some of them were pretty gentle but still fun, and some were really exciting . Our favorites were Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean - and all the rest!

Jed completely wore himself out. At the end of ten hours there he was still fizzing, but the time we got home he was asleep and missed dinner!
