Xiamen, China

Hey Hey and a Big G'Day to ya

Mid morning I got a call from my school telling me they had a got a bus ticket for me but from Fuzhou. The bus driver said he'd hold the ticket until later in the day, all I had to do was get a ticket to Fuzhou. An impossible task this week but hey I had to try. So with Ms Li's help I finally got a ticket out of Xiamen. In the end a guy in our line heard us talking about why I had to get home. He got the only ticket to Fuzhou but wanted to stay in Xiamen with his girlfriend. Of course he had to go to Fuzhou to spend Spring Festival with his family. In the end he gave me his ticket, rang his family and told them there were no tickets.

So the next day I was off to Fuzhou.

I then got another call from the school, the bus driver had sold the ticket so now there was no ticket.
Oh well, I have a ticket now and off I'll go.
All will work out, it always does.

I said my goodbyes to Ms Li and I headed to Yundang Lake where I spent many beautiful hours in the sunshine walking and taking photos. It really is a beautiful place to walk and relax. Spring Festival decorations were being put up all over the park areas. It made me want to stay longer and celebrate the passing of the new year here amongst the happy people and all the beautiful coloured lights.

But tomorrow would take me from Xiamen.
Sadly my Song has been Sung!
