The big move is imminent! We're two weeks from leaving; our furniture left home 17 days ago, and Chris left home more than two months ago. Two million logistical details to finish and I'm ready to go!
We've never moved via airplane before
. Odd to think that we'll wheel the luggage down the sidewalk and say goodbye to our home. I envy Chris his fairly hasty departure--it's lovely in the valley in the spring, and by staying an additional three months, I have that much longer to become homesick before I leave!
After 22 years here we feel like the valley is home and our friends and neighbors are our family. We're going to miss everyone so very much.
