We arrive on time in Paris and have a convenient connection of only two hours for our continuing nine hour flight in the daytime over the entire continent of Africa. It's a LONG WAY. I do want to see the Sahara Desert and the Jungles of the Congo. We do! The photos that I took from the air don't tell the story but there was something so fascinating to see those huge geographical points of interest.
Throughout the day I reviewed my sermons and studied the scriptures that I would use. I start speaking tomorrow and it will go on and on. I'll be speaking about ten times (that I know of). This is what the Feast usually means to us among all the socializing and the humanitarian aspects of this trip. I also think about the people that we will be seeing and the people back home....family and friends we left behind.
We arrived about 9 PM in Johannesburg. Hard to believe. We got to City Lodge Motel near the airport. We have so much luggage and many are trying to help for the tips.
In the morning we fly up to Blantyre, Malawi where we start with a Sabbath Service....probably no better way than this to get acquainted!
Stay with us.....

You said, 'I also think about the people that we will be seeing and the people back home....family and friends we left behind.'
This, I think, is the hard thing about traveling and getting to know people (even just a little bit): you're forever after stuck halfway between whoever you're with at the moment and the people you know and love in other places.
So glad to read your updates, please give our love to Bev and also to the brethren there.
