Morocco

The Atlas mountains have always had an appeal in my mind. With summits exceeding 4000m (13.000 ft) there is snow on the high ridges. My highschool geography teacher described them. Later I read of the exploration of the north African deserts. I got Maroccan friends. The time has come. The moment is here. We are flying to north Africa tomorrow morning. From Rabat we will rent a car and drive south towards Marrakesh, and from there head into the mountains. My mind is ready. Come with me, my friend, and let me tell you of our adventures...
