Today was a day of mainly staying home and chilling. Morning started off with having time trials with Bernard's new RC car up and down his back yard... It took me a while to get the hang of the steering..... And by the time I had got the hang of it the battery died.... While the battery recharged Bernard set up the Xbox with guitar hero.... While he did his thing I jumped on phoenix's Xbox and played some elder scrolls online.

Obviously while playing Xbox Bernard was thinking about the RC car as all of a sudden he announced he was going shopping and did I want to come ..... First stop was Bunnings.. He apparently needed to buy a new garden hose and some weed killer... From there We made our way to the hobby shop we bought his RC car.....and he bought another one... Different, more expensive.... Faster.... Lol. We then decided to cross over to Kmart and buy some witches hats from the sports section.. So we could mark out a decent race track.... Yes I know nerds... Our last stop was Krusty Cream donut shop... It's ok Bernard bought donuts... I just had a soy coffee.... Honest!

We returned home via the display home.... It was open today so I could have a look. I instantly became jealous. The house they are building is beautiful.... Huge... And beautiful.... Did I say I was jealous?

Seeing what Bernard has achieved makes me look closely at my life... What have I achieved? Where am I heading?..... Maybe when I get home I need to sit down and reassess where I'm at... And start planning my future . There are so many options though... Which direction should I take.... Some decisions are mutually exclusive... But I think it is time I really have a new look and make a plan.....

Arriving home I made a quick lunch then we went out and set out a race course with the cones. The next half an hour was rather good fun.. Cars slipping a sliding all over the place kicking up dirt and stones, spinning the wheels in the gravel. Sliding all over the lawn. I have always wanted an RC car... But never got around to getting one..... Maybe when I get home I should waste some more money and get one..... But when would I have time to play with it.... And where?...... Maybe..... Maybe not.

Once the batteries died again it was back inside and Xbox again..... Until Phoenix came home. While still sitting playing Xbox and sitting in the sweaty t shirt and daggy shorts I had been wearing all day.. Bernard announced.. Oh we are going out in about half an hour to the RSL club to see a band and have dinner .

Arrrghghgh I thought. Jumping up, had a quick sparrow wash.. Dragged my hair back as best I could and attacked my beard to try and make it sit in a semi decent style..... It argued with me and insisted on being fuzzy..... Stuck it down as best I could with beard balm and oil... Threw on my jeans and docs..... And rummaged through my bag for a respectable looking shirt that was still clean. ( mental note I have to wash tomorrow) made it just in time to climb in the car

RSL club was rather close... Very close to B&Ps new house. The band we were seeing was a guy Phoenix works with and a few old mates singing covers from the 60s. They weren't that bad. Made me miss being in a band. Maybe I need to try and convince Kingsley again... Lol actually maybe that is one thing I should look into and add to the new changes of me..... It would get me out more often.... We'll see.

Menu was really old school ... Chicken parma and steak dinners. They did have a vegetarian pasta.., which they happily made vegan friendly for me.. Well almost.. It still came out with Parmesan cheese all over it..... I just ate it.... I will hate myself later...lol

After dinner it was back home. B&P are chilling in the lounge listening to music.. And I've sitting in the dining room listening in and typing up this blog.

Only one and a bit days left on this side of the island. The Tattoo tomorrow evening then have to get up at sparrows fart to get clear across town in peak hour to get to the airport for my 09:15 flight back home... Apparently it's about an hours drive in good conditions so I better get my shit all squared away tomorrow morning.... Anyway... I'm going to leave it here tonight and join the others in chilling to the music... Ciao.
