Saturday 15^th August 2020: We’ve gone into town this morning in M&M’s van – the first time out in it for a week. The Markets are being held at the Court House – they have the usual market things, but the fish man is there and we buy fresh fish which we are having tonight. The pantry needed refilling so we are stocked up again and Marg had a successful visit to the Telstra shop after a couple of frustrating attempts to phone them. It’s been ‘time in the office’ for us this arvo, so everything is up to date. 

Sunday 16^th August 2020: A big walk on Cable Beach for Marg and I and then a day of chores for me. Avon gave John a ride into town as he was wanting to follow up Vic Fong who was at John Frewer (maybe when we get back from Derby) and he did plenty of walking also. Mark rode his bike to do a couple of chores and ended up getting a puncture and pushing the bike home, so our fitbits are all saying we are well over our 10,000 steps.

Tomorrow John and I are off to Derby for a couple of days, M&M are staying here and doing the Horizontal Falls next week which we have done previously. Nine days in Broome for us, the longest we have ever stayed in one place - must admit we did get very comfortable with it and the weather and Cable Beach for walking have both been superb, plus the longest time we've spent with M&M and what a joy that has been.
