THE OLD BRIDGE OF TSAGKARADA


Upon entering the village the very first day that we arrived in Tsagkarada I noticed the sign that says "Old Bridge" . How could I leave without walking out here! There is a trail that brings you down to the forest from the village but I thought to take the shortcut since I had nobody to come along. The short way is to come to the Old Bridge Café which is difficult to be missed. I climbed down the steps and walked a few metres down the coomb and came to the bridge. I feel it is no need to comment about the beauty of the area since you can see much of it through my photos. So be my guest…….Oh yes, the old stone arched bridge was built in 1987 by the way.
