Today, my brother, mom, dad, and I took a high speed ferry from Fort Myers to Key West. The trip started out pretty smooth. Then, we hit 6 foot swells on the Gulf of Mexico and the high speed ferry instantly became the "barf barge". People turned green and were puking all around us. We received several dirty looks from sick people as we ate the sandwiches that we packed for the 3 1/2 hour ride. The guy sitting next to us, however, really got got things going when he returned from the snack bar with a smelly greasy pork sandwhich. Obviously, it was a miserable ride for the sea-sick but we had fun. We spent the day walking around Key West and had drinks at Jimmy Buffet´s Margaritaville.
