Cabin In The Woods

Eagle, Idaho, United States
Today we drove to McCall from Eagle along a winding road next to a rapidly flowing Payette River. The rapids ranged from a class one to a class five. We ate lunch at the Shore Lodge restaurant at Payette Lake. We rode the chair lift to the summit of Brundage Mountain. It was a very scary ride, which is one of the many reasons I will never ski - cold and snow being number one and two. On the way to the cabin we encountered a large sheep herd moving to a new grazing area led by one smart sheep dog. Phil and Christy treated us to an old fashioned cook out with burgers, hot dogs, and marshmallows. The cabin is a modern yet rustic mountain get away.
