Thanksgiving in Prescott and We're off to Thailand

Ko Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand
We arrived in U.S. from Europe on November 13, 2016, and spent a great month with family and friends in both Phoenix and Prescott. We reconnected with everyone from little Grayson, our one year nephew to Marla's 90 year old Dad in Prescott. Marla cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner for everyone with help from the girls, and we even saw the first snowfall of the year in Prescott. We had some wonderful hours with Tom and Cristina, talking and sampling some craft beers. We caught up with my sister Mickie's new life and friends in Prescott, and we felt lucky to see Marnie and Steve again, even if for only one day and evening.
The travel bug is hard for us to resist, so on December 13, 2016, we flew over 30 hours on Singapore Airlines to arrive two days later in Koh Samui, Thailand . Talk about jet lag! For several days we were waking at 2 am and nodding off in mid-afternoon. Resting at the Centara Villas in Koh Samui resolved that issue, and we really enjoyed the quiet and peace at the resort. Cory and I had our first couple's honeymoon massage -- a 4 hour luxurious treat where Thai ladies massaged, wrapped, smoothed, coated and beautified our bodies and faces. Cory especially liked the hot wrap where they covered him in a mud wrap, wrapped him in plastic wrap and then covered him with a metallic blanket to keep in the heat. After that, the cold cucumber facial startled both of us! We spent time that week on the beach and relaxing before flying to Hong Kong to board the Norwegian Star for our 44 day cruise of Asia and Australia. I'll post about our cruise and the places we see in Vietnam and Thailand when I get better internet access!
