We decided to have a relaxing day and stay at the same campsite so we didn't have to pack up. We had a leisurely morning before springing into action so that we could visit Locronan before the shops closed for lunch. We had a short walk into town and stopped along the way at a glass studio and other assorted shops before arriving in the town square. Locronan is a very pretty town with stone buildings and wisteria growing on many of them. There weren’t a lot of tourists in the town, but enough to make it feel a bit more lively. We stopped at the TI to pick up a map of town and saw that they had a walking tour marked out which we decided to follow. After browsing all the shops and visiting an art studio or two, we headed off on our tour. We thought we would start at the scenic viewpoint over the rooftops of Locronan and walked uphill to a path in front of a manor house. I’m not sure when the viewpoint was actually a viewpoint since the trees were completely blocking the view of town. We returned the way we had come and got a great view from the road itself. We then wandered through small lanes, past gardens, an old church, a thatched-roof house with irises growing on the roof and lovely stone walls until we were back at the main square. We took a few more photos and decided that we had seen all that we wanted to.

We had looked at a crêperie on the way in that had an excellent selection of crêpes and after looking at it one more time, decided to go for a dessert crêpe. By the time we had finished reading the menu we had decided to have a savoury crêpe as well in case it was our last crêpe stop in Brittany. We both went for the mushroom, scallop and lardons (like bacon) with cream fraiche and it was delicious. It came with a small side salad (which means lettuce here) which had a very nice dressing. We then chose our dessert crêpes and I chose a banana, salted caramel butter, candied orange peel and vanilla ice cream one. Anoop went for the apple tatin (cooked in butter, cinnamon & other spices), salted caramel butter with vanilla ice cream and flambéed in Grand Marnier. This time he was ready with the camera! Both were incredible and we were glad we had gone out for lunch.

Back at camp we took advantage of the hotel-like showers and had a wonderful hot shower. Then it we had a cup of tea while chatting with Dad & Tan online. We spent the rest of the evening writing blogs and selecting photos so that we could upload a few when we next got an internet connection.
