Time to fly home

Adina Apartment Hotel Darwin Waterfront, Northern Territory, Australia
As we sit here eating our final breakfast — which notably is back to being served buffet style (something I didn’t expect to see ever again!) — we have the opportunity to reflect on our wonderful winter escape. Nola says the best part of the trip was kicking and scooping arms (swimming!); Gretl loved all the natural pools; Michael says the best thing was that it wasn’t cold; and I have to agree with Gretl — the picturesque rock pools in Litchfield Park were great. I also enjoyed seeing the Aboriginal rock art and climbing to the lookout at Ubirr. The warm, balmy evenings were wonderful too.
Our flight from Darwin departs at 1:30pm today.
For my final entry, I am posting a short video that captures some of the special moments of our escape to the Northern Territory.
Thank you for following our adventures! And thank you too to those who left comments for me — you can go back and view my replies, if you wish.
Until next time — cheers!
Merrilly

It was a fantastic holiday. On behalf of my fellow passengers who travelled in the back of the bus with me, we were delighted that you made it possible for us to participate in this most enjoyable presentation. Looking forward to next years travels with M&M. Thank you.
