The First Real Vacation in Two Years

Covid kept us at home all last year--a few short weekend trips, but no long vacation. We had planned a month-long junket using Amtrak to go up north and then out to the west then back again, and had to call the whole thing off, in part because all the national park sites closed. They are open now, and we're headed to Minnesota on Antrak where we will rent a car and visit a number of NPS sites--mostly WAAAYYY out in the boondocks where no people live.
