The Crack of Dawn- Four Seasons Hotel -Limassol

Limassol, Cyprus
With the first crack of dawn I am up –this is my first morning at the premises. Lying in bed doing nothing is not my piece of cake and as an early bird I jump out of bed moments after I open my eyes and realize where I am. It is still dark outside, I put my robe on and notice that I have time for a cup of coffee. I appreciate the fact that I can have my own up in the room.

I peep from time to time outside while enjoying the coffee I made and draw the balcony door wide open to let oxygen and the cool fresh air get inside the room.

I step outside and take a huge breath. It is cool and chilly outside and I can smell the salty aroma of the beach…. it is so peaceful and relaxing. I love it!

I am so thankful to be out here at this moment and honestly I could have never have traded these peaceful moments not even if I had to trade them for a sumptuous dinner outing!

The photos are taken at three different stages in the day. The sea became rough after midday and it was cloudy but with no rain. This is the roughest the waters can be out here in winter. The last photos show  a bunch of amateur surfers struggling to get on their boards at 4.30 pm.

I have a video for those of you who follow me as I travel. It will help you get the whole picture of what I am describing –mainly the lapping of water on the Mediterranean coast. Enjoy it.
