Meknes for Lunch & Look Around

Meknes, Morocco

Packing up our campsite after one night is a bit hard and Avan now has a head cold which is laying him a bit low . I have been doing his cooking and dishes duties so he doesn't share his cold around and in turn he is doing my camp bed and packing up/putting up our tent.

Leaving Fes behind was a bit sad as we had all enjoyed ourselves immensely but on to our next adventures.

We arrived at the Imperial City of Meknes and found it a little bit more laid back, quieter and smaller than Fes (however we did witness a domestic in the main square).

After a few hours looking around, and a delicious lunch in the city we were back on the truck and off to the port and beach side town of Asilah.

Footnote: Historic City of Meknes is UNESCO World Heritage listed.
