Oslo City Walk

Oslo, Oslo, Norway
Central Oslo is very easy to navigate. There is a long grand boulevard leading from the Palace to the rail station about a km away at the other end. Many of the main sights are on this street.

Leaving the Palace first is the University and National Theatre.

This is followed next by the Parliament building

Along this street are many grand hotels, cafes, and upscale restaurants. There are also grand sweeping views back of the Palace.

At the far end towards the train station is the Cathedral but it had already closed to visitors today.

For my last day I was going to treat myself and buy a burger and fries at the train station since it was the cheapest place. It still cost 105K ($21) but was a good size and had some spicy coating on the fries.

In the hotel I was now able to get into my room. It had nice skylights and was very modern. The only drawback was no tv. I could easily spend a couple of nites here if I had more to do in Oslo
