Charlotte Amalie, Virgin Islands US
Kelly and I are up and room service arrived 30 minutes ago. Meganh wanted the cinnamon buns again so we made sure she got that. The girls prefer to eat in the room. No rush and no wind out back on the deck.

The Norwegian Epic that left St. Thomas the same time as us, is still flanking us off our Port side about ½ a kilometre away. The weather is warm, sea light and the ship gently rocking. helps everyone sleep. Yesterday we took a "taxi" which is a F450 pickup with a improvised passenger cab to a Havenside Bay where 3 more ships are parked. There was the Epic, the Carnival Glory and the Freedom of the Seas. We had tickets to Paradise Point which is accessed via a sky tram. Kids are free and the view was excellent. We had lunch and watched the crab races. There were dancers including one man on stilts. The city here is named Charlotte Amalea and the roads are all under construction Our taxi back did not want to get stuck so he drove us thru the back streets.   It was interesting to see the non tourist side of life here. There were a few Spanish speaking shops and these apparently are staffed by Dominicans who have moved here.

Back on the ship and we had snacks then a short swim, Hailey made 2 runs on the water slide then to Animators Palate for dinner.   The pictures on the wall start as black and white sketches then slowly turn into the full colour final version. The waiters vests changed to colour ½ way thru dinner. Mickey came and cheered on the crowd.

The show was a Hypnotist and it was really funny. Meganh wanted a princess show and her wish will be granted today.  Hailey had stayed at Oceaneers after dinner and while Kelly signer her out, Meganh and I spotted Cinderella on Deck 3 – she ran into the short line up and we have some great pictures.   Today is seafood buffet featuring fresh rolled sushi and dinner is lobster. It's a sea day so we doing some tiding up of the stateroom.
