A short sleep followed by quick breakfast and our shuttle ride departs to the airport at 0830.    Our taxi driver was helpful and talked about his Bosnian homeland and life in the New Orleans. The traffic is busy at the entrance to the cruise terminal but our ship is waiting at the pier. About 45 minutes later, we are on the ship, We have lunch in the Lido Buffet, checked out the pools, went to the Emergency Drill Muster stations, unpacked our luggage, registered at Camp Carnival and the girls went swimming in the hot tubs.   Kelly ordered the signature welcome aboard cocktail. Dinner is at 6 PM, a nice meal but Hailey and Meganh both fall asleep. We carried them to the room where we found the bunk bed was made and chocolates on the pillows.  Kelly registed for the art auction on Friday and they did a quick check out at the Fun Shops.   We ordered room service then all slept well as the ship sped across the Gulf of Mexico. The seas are calm, a full moon and no wind.
