Early in the morning we traveled by speed boat to return to Puerto Ayora, where we had breakfast at Descanso del Guia. Then we proceeded by taxi and ferry to Baltra to take our flight back to Quito. In Quito we returned to Vieja Cuba and a quiet evening.



We loved being back in Vieja Cuba and settled in quickly. It really is a nice hotel. Although it had started to rain, I went to Subway to get us the delicious sandwiches we preferred for an evening meal. It was just so nice to be in our comfy room enjoying our food. We thought it was nicer and easier than trying to find a restaurant nearby by, waiting for the order to come and so on. A quiet end to a long travel day.
