Ninety Minutes in Nimes

Nimes, Languedoc-Roussillon, France
Our train did eventually come, and we boarded and left Arles behind. When we arrived at Nimes a short time later, we got off the train and wandered around. We saw the park with a large fountain and lots of benches in the shade. We took a picture of the Roman stadium. We went into the church and looked at the stained glass windows. Then we sat in the park and relaxed in the shade until it was time to go catch another train.

* Fun fact to know about Nimes: This is where the cloth denim originated . The name "denim" means "of Nimes."

Both Nimes and Arles were nice towns with some fun architecture. This did end up being a pretty hot day though and frustrating as it was taking us a long time to get anywhere.
