Alarm was set for 5.45 am simply to get me up and see what the 6.02 am sunrise will bring. Well, wasn’t that marvellous but it was a nice way to start the day sitting on a concrete seat down at the sandy beach in the on shore wind, listening to the waves of the lake come in, watching the morning walkers, dogs, cattle coming down for a drink, bird life and then the sun rise for another day.

As for the rest of the day ... well let's just say it was a much needed R & R day with not much done at all! No, it was not a food eating day.
 
Breakfast Goliat meaning a bacon, potato and onion omelette, coffee and fruit juice for US $ 5.

Lunch was a tuna salad and dinner decided on the Carne Parrillada or combination mixed grill: frilled beef, pork and chicken served with rice, beans, fried plantains and green salad US $13. A bit over cooked but a change no doubt.
