Chitimba Camp ... overnight and first stop on the shores of the long Lake Malawi.
Just another overnight camp stop on route to Kande Beach. Windy, sandy, time to stretch the legs after the previous day's 600 km drive.
Chitimba to Kande Beach = stop at Mzuzu a reasonable size town with a street market which sold mainly second hand clothes. Here where we had to buy for another camper an outfit. Trouble it was a mystery ... explanation in the next entry.
A stop to buy wooden carving and art work. Near by were local boys with their herd of goats by a rubber plantation.
