It’s early. Waking at 3:45 and getting ready super fast, I’m out the door before 4:15 to meet my driver. He is here early so I hop right into the car and head to the airport. I am flying out of the smaller airport in Rome, Ciampino. It’s about 30 minutes and I’m here. The airport is pretty crowded as there are several early morning flights from this airport. I wait in the bag drop/passport check line before heading through security to wait at the gate. The lines at the bars are too long for me right now so I get some vending machine cappuccino to tide me over until I reach France. 

The flight on RyanAir take off on time. I sleep a little and listen to some music a little. I arrive on time to my destination, Beauvais, France. 

Sue is also leaving today on a flight back to the states from the bigger airport, Fiumicino. I hope she enjoyed her 1st trip to Italy. I think she did ! We sure had a ton of fun while visiting much of this beautiful country. Our highlights are definitely the boat trip to Favignana in Sicily, the performance of Il Travatore at the Arena di Verona and visiting the Sicily Rome American Cemetery (just to name a few). As I move on to the next leg of my summer holiday, I will be missing my dear friend Sue. Safe travels!
