K-Pop Teacher Dies

I was just told today that a very popular teacher had died last nite.

Him and his friend were fishing at nite. He ended up under water and was trapped under ice. They have recovered his body. This is the extent of what I have been told.

He was very popular with the students and I named him the K-Pop teacher. He was a korean language teacher, but young in his 20s, and always dressed in fashionable K-Pop singer style clothes and had a similar style haircut.

School is closed till Mar 1 and teachers were concerned about students finding out thru the media and how the school should handle it. All teachers were called back to school today to be briefed.

I didnt know him that well, I had tried talking to him a couple of times in the cafeteria but his english was not good and like most people he didnt want to talk in english.

I dont know what korean funeral arrangements are but I will be away on my vacation next two weeks so will not be able to attend. I'm told both his parents used to teach at this school previously.

In feb we come back for graduation week. This will be overshadowed when students are officially told and some will be finding out for the first time.
