After a three hours busrite I arrived in Polonnaruwa at 12:30 . I took a room in Gajaba hotel which has a lovely leafy garden and 23 reasonable rooms. During my lunch I spoke with some other tourists who booked a safari to Kaudulla N.P.and I decided to join them.
After a one hour jeeprite we entered the park and an elephant was blocking the road. The driver made a lot of noice to scare him but he wasn't scared at all. He almost attacked our jeep and finally we were able to enter the park together with another jeep. In the park we saw lot of elephants, birds and monkeys. On our way back their was a beautifull sunset so we had a perfect trip.

The next day I woke up late because some cockroages visited my bed and a big one was walking on one of my legs. I hired a bike a this ruins were even more impressive then the ones in Anaradhapura. After visiting lots of ruins I decided to go for a swim. I saw there was a hotel with a swimming pool that can be used by nonguest when they order a drink.So I ordered a lunch an some drinks and had a very relaxing afternoon.
