It's our 24th anniversary today so what could be more romantic than to get up really, really early and take your wife with her friend to the train station so they can disappear for 10 days!
I know!
Anyhow, being the great husband that I am, I took both of them there, after nearly going to the wrong hotel, then loaded their bags onto the train & kissed one of them goodbye (that'd be Sherry in case you're wondering)!
And then as the train was leaving the station, taking my wife away with it, I ran along the station, grief-stricken, waving goodbye desperately through my tears until I reached the end of the platform

Well, it was something like that.
Got back to the room, had breakfast with mum then rushed into town for a 10.30am walking tour - why do they make tours start so early!! Despite taking the subway exit farthest away from where we actually needed to go, we still made it there only 3 min late so all good.
