Singapore, Singapore
Had an amazing 4days in Singapore. Singapore is a very advanced city which is very easy to explore as a sole travler.

The city has been very friendly, with fitness first even giving me a free gym pass when I enquired about using the gym. The hostel was excellent with lots of other interesting travelers. On Monday I made friends with an american who teaches in South Korea. We explored Senaso Island, Little India and Arib street together and got the train to the airport the following morning. It was interested hearing about his 3years in Korea and Asian travels.

The skyline of the city is fantasic at night and there are many interesting building to see in the day, like the 3 towers which look like they have a boat parked on top! I went up the 57th floor and got a great view of the Singapore skyline.

Highlight of my time here was meeting up with my friends brother and wife, Paul and Liesley. They invited me round their appartment over the weekened and we watched the womens and mens Australian Open final together. It was great to see and hear about the non-tourist side of Singapore. They looked after me extremely well and even ordered Chilli and Pepper Crabs for dinner on sunday evening, a meal that all the guide books recommend.

Still getting used to the different time zone. Have not been sleeping great but have been distracted with everything new.
