What is it about men that they can't admit they are wrong. Like asking for directions. I had a ticket from Qantas which had me booked on flight Q337 even though it was a Vietnamese Air plane. I go to the big display board and see Viet Air has flight VA 807 leaving for HCM City at the same time. No sign of flight Q 337 on the baord but foolishly having faith in Qantas I queued anyway for flights to LA and Hong Kong thinking the HCM flight woulod be open before I got to the other end. Damnh that line snaked from Tullamaring to Bulla and back about 4 times. By the time I got to the counter it had penetrated my thick head I was in the wrong place and so it was.
Just go down to Vietnam Air the lady said so I sprinted down and voila no queue at all and the lady there maybe seeing the rabbit in the spotlight look on my face upgraded me to an aisle seat with no one next to me .
Beleive it or not all the food on the flight was free. Stir fried beef with peppers and noodles, bread rolls, Later we had stir fried pork with ginger and noodles. Oh and the gin and tonics were free too.
Don't bother flying any other airline. Even an blanket and pillow that Jetstar would have charged for came free.
Besides that it's still a gruelling flight. That 8 hours seems to take forever even with a Temazepam and 2 gin and tonics.

Taxi driver at Tan Son Nhat tried to charge me 750,000 for a fare that I knew was only going to be 100,000 or so thats $37 compared to $5 so I told him he was dreaming and got a Vinasun to my little alleyway in the backpackers district. Thanh the beautiful reception girl gave me a map and I headed out to 5Oysters bar for a Ba ba ba and springrolls. Springrolls were cold, thats a first for Vietnam. Hotel has free wifi as does every place here, the girl at 5 Oysters even approached me and told me the password. Why havent we got that in Daylesford?. Think tight arsed business owners.
