Not much to say about today. We moved hotels out onto the Cua Dai road in what is quite an impressive building modelled obviously on French lines but with a swimming pool. What a great luxury a pool is here. The outdoor seating is under thatched roofs and staff bring drinks if asked. Colonialism eh, who needs it?
I vowed not to walk anywhere today following my usual Sunday practice honed over the years when I actually worked, Sunday was a day of rest and that's what I did .
Johnnie intervened of course and I ended up walking into Hoi An and dropping off laundry on the way to Mrs Binh who is also repairing a rip in my jacket. Priced some digital cameras on the way which I don't think are cheaper than Ebay, however I need one right now as I am sick of crappy phone pics.
Went looking for the archetypical Vietnam T Shirt which has 3 traffic lights on the front...... Green , you can go, Orange ......yes you can go, Red....you can still go. No luck but found a Papaya shop which has the best T shirts in Hoi An. Heard that Anthony Bourdain is in the area, eye peeled for the photo op.
