Hong Kong, China
Today we left Hong Kong and are on the long flight (13 hours) back to the US. This morning we woke to a beautiful blue sky and bright sunshine. We had some time before we had to head to the airport, so we took the ferry to Kowloon again, so we could see Hong Kong in the sunshine. It was a stunningly beautiful day; all the Asian colors were sharp and bright. At least we had one such day before leaving.

We're now wrapping up a month-long, around-the-world trip. As far as our work goes, I feel it was quite successful, we were able to meet with many people in quite a few different countries, and make good progress in a number of areas. I especially enjoyed traveling with an old friend, that doesn't happen very often.

Next month my next trip should be another long one - about a month ; to Kenya, Rwanda, Cameroon, Togo, and Côte d'Ivoire. I'll be accompanied on the first part of that trip by my parents and two other elders and their wives who will travel to East Africa with me at their own expense. That should be great fun.
